main purpose of Homespun Books.com is to provide
a venue for the 1000's of writers who have a story
to tell, and a ready reference for the appreciative
readers who find inspiration in these stories.
All
of us have a story to tell and some of us are
called to write our stories: Homesteading in the
prairies; Growing up in New Zealand; Travels in
Africa: A struggle with polio, Seeking a new life
out west - the stories go on and on, the adventures
unique, personal and usually exciting. I'll bet
you have a great story to tell also. If you do,

can publish your story online, and even get paid
for doing it!

of us are called to read, to find our story
in another's words: giving us validation and
solace. We read to broaden our experience,
to be entertained, to cast our minds to a
different land and a different time. Some
of us read these stories on the computer,
in an easy chair, and coffee by our side....though
usully it's a more comfortable laptop..:-). |

Some
of us write to create fictional stories or poetry
to express our inner thoughts; and some of us
read them to share in another's emotions and mental
process.
Some
of us want to share our knowledge and write "How
to" books; and others read so that they too
can learn "How to".
